Best Starting Hand

Best Starting Hand

A good hand would consist of Grimer and Koffing as well as Professor's Research to dig for evolutions. Poke Ball is also great in early turns as it can thin the deck for better Professor's Research draws.

Other Good Starting Cards

Recommended Starting Hand

On the event of a Grimer start, use Poke Ball and Professor's Research to dig for a Koffing. Using Poison Gas is also an okay choice because of Poison's incremental damage. Use Koga to get your Pokemon out of danger.

Strategy 1: Poison Switch

Poison Switch

Playing Weezing while Muk is benched allows you to poison your enemy with Weezing's Ability, then use Koga to withdraw Weezing and switch into Muk to deal 120 Damage with Venoshock.

If played correctly, you can catch your opponent off guard, and make quick work of their Pokemon, earning yourself points, while also massively disrupting your opponent's strategy.
