Core Combos and Interactions

Bunbuku One Card Combo

Cards on Hand
Majespecter Raccoon - Bunbuku
Step Description
1 Normal Summon Majespecter Raccoon - Bunbuku; use its effect to search out a copy of Majespecter Porcupine - Yamarashi from the Deck to add to the hand.
Afterwards, as you control a "Majespecter" monster on the field, Special Summon Yamarashi.
2 Using Majespecter Raccoon - Bunbuku and Majespecter Porcupine - Yamarashi as materials, Link Summon Majespecter Orthrus - Nue onto one of the Extra Monster Zones.
Trigger its effect to add back both Bunbuku and Yamarashi from the Extra Deck to the hand, and send Majespecter Crow - Yata and Majespecter Toad - Ogama face-up from the Main Deck to the top of the Extra Deck.
3 Activate Majespecter Raccoon - Bunbuku and Majespecter Porcupine - Yamarashi as Pendulum Scales. Use them to Pendulum Summon Yata and Ogama to the Monster Zones pointed to by Nue's Link Markers.
4 Activate the effects of Majespecter Crow - Yata and on Majespecter Toad - Ogawa on summon.
Chain Link 2: Trigger the effect of Ogawa; set Majespecter Tempest straight from the Deck.
Chain Link 1: Trigger the effect of Yata; search out a copy of Majespecter Wind from the Deck.
5 Activate Majespecter Wind; tribute one of the two Level 4 Pendulum Monsters on the field (we'll choose Yata), then Special Summon Majespecter Fox - Kyubi from the Main Deck.
Its effect triggers on summon; search out a second copy of Majespecter Wind to add to the hand.
Immediately set the Counter Trap Card afterwards.
6 Using Majespecter Fox - Kyubi and Majespecter Toad Ogama as materials, Xyz Summon Majespecter Draco - Ryu.

Boss Monsters

Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis
Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis Unlike its counterpart in ZEUS, Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis can use a single monster as material to Xyz Summon this monster. The only caveat is that the opponent must have Special Summoned two or more times in this turn or the turn before. It can bounce back a monster the opponent controls once per turn.
Baronne de Fleur
Baronne de Fleur If a Deck can Synchro summon a Level 10 monster, it will always carry Baronne de Fleur, and the Majespecter Deck is no different in that regard. Its effects--especially the omni-negate--are far too useful to disregard that in this Deck, the player would most likely need about three materials due to the Levels of the monsters in the Main Deck.
Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer
Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer This specific Synchro Monster is mostly seen within Pendulum Decks due to its material requirement. By destroying a Pendulum monster, Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer shuffles a card on the Field back into the Deck. This card can also help in bringing out Majesty Pegasus due to its Special Summon effect.
Accesscode Talker
Accesscode Talker When Link Monsters are in play, try to have enough in the Extra Deck to eventually consider playing Accesscode Talker. Its card destruction and ATK Boost effects are more often than not game-ending effects. The best part is that the opponent cannot respond to this boss monster's card destruction effect.

Majespecter Counters: How to Beat

Best Decks to Use Against Majespecter

Kashtira

Kashtira

The worst thing that a Majespecter Deck, or any Pendulum Deck in particular, can deal with is cards being banished. Kashtira banishes cards by punishing the activation of monster effects, and this time it is not Arise-Heart is not the threat; that goes to Shangri-Ira and its zone-blocking effect.

Kashtira Deck List & Card Guide

Snake-Eyes

Snake-Eyes

One of the strongest Decks and combos currently in the game, Snake-Eyes has quite a powerful board to deal with that needs multiple board breakers--something that Majespecter does not have.

Especially dangerous is the Deck's ability to displace monsters. Placing Pendulum monsters in non-Pendulum Zones makes them completely useless.

Snake-Eyes Deck List & Card Guide

Yubel

Yubel

Yubel is the strongest Deck that makes use of Super Polymerization, which can very well wipe the entire Majespecter board with ease. Despite having 0 ATK, the Yubel monsters reflect the damage back to the opponent, and a single combo can have multiple versions of them on the field for OTK attempts.

Best Cards to Tech Against Majespecter

Summon Limit
Summon Limit Because of the nature of Pendulum Decks, they normally do multiple summons of monsters. Summon Limit should limit them from even doing Pendulum Summons, as this floodgate restricts both players to only summoning two monsters per turn.
Heavy Storm & Harpie's Feather Duster
Heavy Storm Harpie A crucial part of Pendulum Decks like Majespecter is the cards in the Pendulum Zone, which occupy the far left and far right Spell/Trap Card Zones. This also makes them susceptible to card destruction effects like Heavy Storm and Harpie's Feather Duster. Losing access to Pendulum Summons can restrict the Deck quite a bit.
Skill Drain
Skill Drain Most of the Majespecter monsters have effects that trigger while they are on the field. Denying them their effects will Skill Drain will only reduce them to just being monsters with effects while on the field.
