N/R Lunalight Deck Guide: How to Play

Having lost its key Fusion Spell and rarer Lunalight monsters, the Lunalight deck is still very viable just by adjusting the Extra Deck and a few cards in the Main Deck. For one, Polymerization becomes the only way to Fusion Summon Lunalight Cat Dancer, which is a very strong Fusion monster that cannot be destroyed by battle.

Luna Light Perfume can Special Summon Lunalight monsters that are in the Graveyard, and a second effect allows it to search out another Lunalight monster from the Main Deck. Lunalight Serenade Dance provides constant advantage, especially after conducting a Fusion Summon or after this card ends up in the Graveyard.

The Extra Deck is also adjusted to no longer be predominantly Fusion-based. Rank 3 and Rank 4 Xyz Monsters are added, alongside a wide variety of Link Monsters. Number 48: Shadow Lich, Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk, Number 70: Malevolent Sin, Tri-Brigade Rugal the Silver Sheller and Triple Burst Dragon fill the gaps left behind from not having the stronger Lunalight Fusion monsters in higher rarity.
