Best Team: Best Pokemon to Use for the Story

Fairy Type Not Essential to Clear Story

While Fairy type moves can come in handy in a few places, such as against the Fighting Type Gym Leader and against Cynthia's Spiritomb, having a Fairy Type on your team is not a top priority for clearing the main story.

While Azumarill is a decent addition to your team if you also need a Water type, we generally recommend simply teaching one of your Pokemon a Fairy type move as opposed to going out of your way to add a Fairy type into your team.
