Pokemon HOME Guide (Update 2.0)
Steps to encounter Darkrai | |
---|---|
1 | After obtaining the Member Card, fly to Canalave City and enter the house behind the Pokemon Center. |
2 | Talk to the man inside and you will be lulled to sleep. |
3 | You will be transported to Newmoon Island. Enter the area in the middle of the island. |
4 | Interact with Darkrai in the middle of the pond to start the battle. |
Best Pokemon to Use | Best Moveset |
---|---|
Breloom | ・Spore ・False Swipe |
Upon encountering Darkrai, immediately throw a Quick Ball at it. If that fails, proceed to battle it.
At Level 100, Breloom's False Swipe will always bring Darkrai down to 1 HP. Use Spore to put it to sleep then throw your best Pokeballs at Darkrari until you eventually capture it.
If Breloom can poison itself with a Toxic Orb, Breloom's Poison Heal Ability will protect it from falling asleep.
Darkrai's shiny form can be obtained in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl!
If you're a shiny hunter, make sure to save before engaging it in battle to soft reset the encounter!
Best Nature | ||
---|---|---|
Timid (+Spd, -Atk) |
Timid is the best nature to get for Darkrai. While it's tempting to give it a Modest nature to boost its Special Attack, Darkrai needs all the Speed it can get to ensure it can use Dark Void on the opposing Pokemon to support its team or give it a safe turn to boost its offenses with Nasty Plot.
