Drowned 1

Make your way out of the Lesser Zone by progressing Behind Seven Seals. Exit any of the checkpoints (preferably Northern Checkpoint), then make your way to Slag Heap up north.
Find Boo on a bridge near the entrance to the settlement. Talk to him and he will tell you about his gun.

Boo's gun will just be right in the pool where he's looking at, so you do not need to search far. Grab his gun then return to him. Tell him you'll keep the gun, and the Drowned will be all yours with no consequence.

The Drowned is located near the entrance to Slag Heap. The settlement Slag Heap is in the Garbage region, and is accessed only after you have made it out of the Lesser Zone. The closest exit to it is the Northern Checkpoint which is accessible near the end of the mission Behind Seven Seals.

Note that Boo's gun will be heavily degraded, so if you plan to use it, save up enough Coupons to have it repaired at a Technician. The tech Diode can be found within Slag Heap.

Damage decreased. Update needed.

It’s worth noting that the gun still functions even at 0% durability. Right in the description. So you don’t need to pay to repair it unless you plan on upgrading it.
