Stalker 2 How to Get the Malachite Pass

You can obtain the Malachite Pass by finishing the For Science side mission in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to learn how to get the Malachite Pass and how to start the For Science side mission!

How to Get the Malachite Pass

Finish the For Science Side Mission

For Science Side Mission Map and World View

Go to the Central Elevator POI in the northeastern portion of the Chemical Plant Region and talk to Yaryk the Mongoose. Accept his mission, For Science!, and activate the device. Yaryk the Mongoose will give you the Malachite Pass when you talk to him again after activating the device .
For Science! Walkthrough

Activate the Device

1 Head to the Top of the Staircase
Going Up the Stairs to Activate Device
Exit the room where you talked to Yaryk the Mongoose and head up the flight of stairs until you reach the room at the very top.
2 Go Down the Ladder
Going Down the Ladder
Once in the room at the very top, go forward, take a right, then a left. Afterward, take another left and head down the ladder.
3 Go to the Device and Activate it
Turning On the Device
Make your way to the device, but before taking the first left, be careful of the two gaps on the platform, which can plummet you to your death. Take another left, and use your bolts liberally to deactivate the Electric Field Anomalies.
4 Take Out the Bloodsuckers (Optional)
Taking out the Bloodsuckers
This is an optional step; you can head straight to Yaryk and talk to him to finish the mission. But, the mission can potentially get bugged if the Bloodsuckers manage to attack Yaryk.
5 Talk to Yaryk to Obtain the Malachite Pass
Talking to Yaryk Again
Talk to Yaryk and exhaust his dialogue. The mission will end, and he will hand over the Malachite Pass. Alternatively, you can kill Yaryk and loot the pass from his corpse.

Obtainable from the Corpses in Maze

Malachite Pass in Maze

You can get several Malachite Passes from the corpses in Maze in the Garbage Region. You will encounter a Poltergeist roaming the area once you get there, so prepare to use some resources to deal with it.

You will also see Doctorant Zhytnychenko in the area as a Side Activity. You can help him out to get a few Coupons by taking out the Poltergeist.

Got 5 passes for almost no work, in the labyrinth (garbage) a scientist is trapped by a poltergeist 5 dead bodyguards lying around, each of them a card, and the poltergeist ran into some buckshot (5 times), Unfortunate no side missions from the scientist
