How to Get the Weird Ball

Obtain by Bulba Anomaly East of Zalissya

Bulba Near Zalissya

Go to the Bulba Anomaly east of Zalissya. The Weird Ball is right infront of the Bulba Anomaly, beside the ambulance and van.

Use the Vehicles as Cover and Crouch

Getting the Weird Ball

Be sure to use the ambulance and the van as cover whenever the Bulba Anomaly starts to suck you in to avoid dying instantly. Crouching behind cover will help you avoid taking damage. You still might take damage whenever the Bulba sucks you in, so use your Medkits as needed.

Note: It is a good idea to save your game before attempting to get the Weird Ball.

Weird Ball Weird Ball Unique Effect: Reduces bullet damage when standing still. The ball increases in weight in 0.2 kg increments until it reaches 5.0 kg the more damage you take.

One of the legendary "altered items" often mentioned in hushed tones by stalkers around the campfire. A child's ball, oddly weighty. Equipping it seems to reduce bullet damage in combat, particularly when standing still.

Prices match values at Rookie and Stalker difficulties. For Veteran difficulty, decrease the selling price by 50%.

It's really easy to get the Weird Ball, but escaping is a different matter. Make sure you are crouched behind something, and when trying to run away, never jump. The Bulba will just suck you in! Bulba has a big range too. I was almost out, only to get sucked in a bit again.

you can shoot the weird ball and it rolls to the side of the water making it easier to collect
