Use the Old Key to open the locked door at Hylnka and Detention Center in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to see all the locations where you can use the Old Key to open locked doors in this guide.

You can use the Key to the Old Padlock that you can get from the nearby white house to open the red brick house with a locked door.
Ready your weapon when you open the door as a Bayun, a mutant dog, and a mutant rat will come out of the house to attack.
Inside the red brick house is an AKM-74U at the table, consumables, ammo, and a stash that contains a High-Capacity AKM-74 Magazine.

 Head to the second floor of the Detention Center building at the Garbage region. |

 Head right to find a hallway with a brown double doors on the left and a metal door across it. Use the Old Key on the brown double doors to unlock it. Inside are plently of consumables and ammo. |

 Start from the area where you can find the dead Flesh mutants on the ground and in cages. Be careful when entering this area as an electro Poltergeist will attack. Enter the furthest open door on the left beside the stack of boxes. |

 Use the Old Key on the white door near the brown table with a computer to unlock it. |

 Inside the room is a free SSP-99 Ecologist suit and a safe that contains ammo and consumables. |

You can find a Key to the Old Padlock inside a TV in the white house at the northeastern side of Hlynka.
Enter the white door and head left until you reach the living room area. Crouch and take the Key to the Old Padlock inside the TV.

 Enter the open door at the right side of the building. |

 Go through the small room on the left side. |

 Pick up the Heavy Key on the brown drawer. |

 Head down to the basement floor and open the grey door. |
| 5 |
 Turn right and head into the room on the right side. You will likely take damage from the fire anomaly in the middle of the hallway so be sure to have some Medkits ready. |

 Quickly loot the Old Key from the dead body before the fire anomaly drains your health. |

 Enter the code 1268 at the entrance of the Mindscrew to open the door. |

 Follow the linear path until you reach the underground system. Move to the right side of the tunnel using the cargos on the tracks. |

 Enter the open room that leads to a bunch of metal shelves and computers. Kill the zombie soldiers in the area. |

 Find the hole in the hall on the left side. |
| 5 |
 Peek through the hole and shoot the red gas canister inside. This unlocks the locked door, allowing you to open it from the other side. |

 Press the red button on the control panel on the small room left of the hole in the wall. This unlocks the door that leads to the next area. |
| 7 |
 Go to the next room and find the grey door with a small window in between the grey metal shelves. |
| 8 |
 Pick up the Old Key on the brown table. If the key does not appear, make a quick save and reload it to spawn it. |
