Mission Description
Warlock, the bartender over at Zalissya, wants me to do a bit of debt collecting for him. There's a hothead called Valik Lummox who owes him money. He was last seen north of Zalissya near the Water Tower. If I can manage to squeeze the debt out of him, I'll get twenty percent.

Completion Rewards

Complete this mission too quickly and you might miss out on Valik's custom AKM-74S worth 18000 Coupons. Be sure to get the check the stash at the Water Tower either way.

Find Valik Lummox by the Water Tower

North of Zalissya

The water tower is just north of Zalissya, when you approach the compound, you'll encounter thugs waiting inside the compound.

Talk to the bandit leader

Talk to the bandit leader and he'll tell you that Valik owes him money to. He tells you to help him with his debt collecting so that you can fix your own problems.

If you decide to kill the bandits at this moment, your mission will end sooner but then you wouldn't know the location of Valik's stash.

Talk to Valik

Find the window opening where you can talk to Valik. He'll tell you that the stash is at the water tower and that you'll know what to do when you get there.

Get Valik's loot from the Water Tower

After revealing the location of the stash, the bandits will then try to use you to get the stash for themselves. The path to the water tower is filled with anomalies just waiting to be set off. Use your Detector and Bolt to avoid them. Once you reach the top and acquire the stash, you can decide whether to side with the bandits or with Valik.

Take Valik's loot to the bandits

Once you've taken the loot, you can surrender them to the bandit leader in hopes that he will let you and Valik go. Note that Valik's loot is worth thrice the amount of a normal variant of the same gun.

Kill all the bandits

From the vantage point of the Water Tower, it is a strategic approach to kill the bandits and take their loot instead. It is highly recommeded to kill the bandits while you are still on the Water Tower as their numbers can overwhelm you. This is the preferable action as you can keep Valik's custom AKM-74S as a bonus reward.
