How to Get the Viper-5

Dropped from Human Enemies

The Viper-5 is a lootable common drop from human enemies upon their death. Note that a dropped Viper-5 will usually have medium to low durability (making it prone to jamming if you plan to use them as is).

You can be obtained a Viper-5 as early as A Tough Awakening when you engage defeat the enemies attacking Zhorik in a house during that mission.

Obtain from Stashes

The Viper-5 may also be obtained from stashes scattered around the Zone. Make sure to keep an eye out for containers you can search – these will show you a button prompt when you go near them.

A Viper-5 can be obtained from Zhorik's stash located northeast of his spot as part of the mission Dangerous Visitors.

Buy from Hamster at Zalissya

A Viper-5 may be bought from the Trader Hamster at Zalissya in the Lesser Zone region. Reaching Zalissya is part of the A Tough Awakening main mission and is one of the earliest settlements you can find at the start of the game.
