Go to the bandits that took three of Beard's men and talk to them. You will be given three options on how to save them. You can either pay the bandits 7,000 Coupons, play their Shooting Gallery, or kill them all to save the captured men.
The best option out of the three would be to playing the Shooting Gallery. Destroy the Yellow Targets above their heads to complete the Shooting Gallery and release Beard's men. You can use a gun with a scope to see the targets clearly.
You will get 3,000 Coupons from Beard if you succeeded without anyone dying. But if someone died, it will be reduced to 1,500 Coupons.
You can choose to attack the bandits if you don't want to comply, but this might cause you to die as they have the number on their side. It's better if you start shooting them before talking to their leader to get the advantage and avoid getting overwhelmed.
You will get 3,500 Coupons from Beard for killing the bandits and rescuing his men.
Paying the bandits 7,000 Coupons is another way to settle things peacefully. However, it is not recommended as Beard won't return what you spent and will only give you 3,000 Coupons.
Once you've rescued Beard's men, return to him for your reward. The reward will depend on the number of people you save but will be reduced if someone or all of them die in the process.
