Sell Red Durability Weapons to Ragman at Rostok Base

You can sell broken weapons and armor with a red durability icon only to Ragman at Rostok base in the Rostok region. He is found at the shed out front of the large building where the traders Birch and Eugene can also be found.

Other than that, no other traders will accept red durability items. It's best to just unload weapons for ammo and then drop the weapon if there is a greater need for other resources than selling them.

Sell Yellow or Green Durability Weapons Anywhere

You can sell weapons and gear that have a yellow icon or no icon at the top-right corner to any traders or random NPCs provided they have money to purchase them. Green durability weapons have the best selling value next to yellow durability weapons.

Weapon Durability Explained

Sell Yellow or Green Weapons to Other Traders than Ragman

In exchange for being able to sell red durability weapons to Ragman, well-kept weapons sold to him will earn you less than selling to other traders such as Birch or Eugene in Rostok. It is best to sell only red weapons to him, then yellow and green durability weapons to everyone else.

What to Do With Broken Weapons

Weapons being sold to a Trader will automatically have their ammo unloaded to you.

Most of the time, it's best to unload and take ammo from broken weapons. Unless you plan on making the trek back to Rostok to sell them to Ragman, keeping broken weapons in your inventory will lead you to getting encumbered so it is advisable to leave them behind.

To unload a weapon, select the item you wish to unload in your inventory, then select the corresponding Unload button. You can also unload dropped weapons by approaching them and then holding down the Unload button when prompted.

Sell Unused Gear and Weapons

It is not advisable to repair and resell the weapon as the cost of the repairs will always be greater than what you make back. There are other ways to earn Coupons that does not involve spending more Coupons to do so.

So what should I do with these broken guns? I think I picked up too much and now they're taking up inventory space. Is there any place I can leave them?
