Stalker 2 Where to find Chimeras
Chimeras are one of the toughest enemies that can only be found in some areas in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to see the Chimera Locations and how to find them.

All Chimera Locations

In a Tunnel Southwest of SIRCAA Exterior Checkpoint

Chimera Southwest of Exterior Checkpoint

You can find one Chimera guarding the entrance of a caved-in train tunnel southwest of the SIRCAA Exterior Checkpoint. You can explore the tunnel after killing it to get a guaranteed VS Vintar Sniper Rifle and a stash with a bunch of ammo and consumables. These will be found near one of the skeletons (to your the right as you enter the tunnel).

VPC Mirror Near STC Malachite Base

VPC Mirror Chimera

A Chimera can be found in the VPC Mirror located west of STC Malachite Base. You can encounter this Chimera if you're doing the A Minor Incident main mission. However, it will still spawn regularly if you visit this location early in your playthrough.

Scripted Encounter During Ad Astra Per Aspera

On the Way to Clear Sky Base

You can encounter a Chimera on your way to the Clear Sky Base during the Ad Astra Per Aspera main mission. However, you won't get to fight it as you will have to run away due to a scripted Emission. Successfully escaping the Chimera will get you the achievement, Run, stalker, run!

City Park in Prypiat

City Park Chimera

One particularly tanky Chimera will be found guarding a crashed helicopter at the center of the City Park in Prypiat. You'll be able to visit this location while exploring the city or if you chose the Laundromat route during the main mission, The Road to the Foundation.

Arena Round 4 of The Freedom Colosseum

Arena Round 4

You can fight a Chimera in the Arena Round 4 of The Freedom Colosseum. You must win the first three Rounds and progress to Just Like the Good Old Days to unlock Round 4.
