Detector | Description | How to Get |
---|---|---|
Echo Detector | With outdated electronic components and subpar usability, this basic artifact detector is only redeemed by its very modest price. | Can be obtained during There and Back Again main mission. |
Hilka Detector | A next-generation detector in the beginner tier, designed to supersede the Echo. Thanks to its all- new electronic components and antenna, it can detect artifacts at a greater range than its predecessor. | Obtained during the Budmo! side mission. |
Bear Detector | An improved first-generator artifact detector. Compared to the Echo, it features a more user- friendly radar display and upgraded electronic components. | Obtained by doing A Sign of Hope side mission. |
Veles Detector | An improved second-generation detector. Despite its relatively high price, this detector is favored by seasoned stalkers for its user-friendly interface, reliability, and remarkable efficiency. | Unlocked after completing In Search of Past Glory main mission. |
You can equip two pieces of armor, a mask and a suit, to protect yourself from enemies and environmental dangers of the Zone.
Most suits have Artifact slots where you can equip different artifacts that give you bonuses to your protection or give you unique passives. However, some artifacts give negative effects in exchange for their benefits.
In STALKER 2, you can equip three weapons to defend yourself within the Zone. There's the primary slot where you can equip your main choice of gun, the secondary slot to equip your secondary weapon, and the sidearm slot where you can equip your preferred Pistols.
There is also a dedicated slot for Detectors which are used to scan for artifacts nearby anomalies.
You can place four consumables on your quick access slots and use them anytime with a press of a button. We recommend putting healing items or any important item that can help you survive the harsh environment of the Zone.
