Hunger

Canned Food UI

Eating food is the most recommended way to mitigate the Hunger status condition. Note that certain foods may not completely remove Hunger so be sure to pick and stock up on foods that reduce it significantly.

Drinking water and alcohol also helps reduce Hunger, albeit slightly.

How to Remove Hunger

Bleeding

Using Bandages

Bleeding causes you to lose health slowly. You can use bandages to remove this status condition.

Note that using Medkits do not remove the bleeding status and can only replenish your health.

How to Remove Bleeding

Encumbered

Encumbered is a status condition that appears when you are carrying more than the maximum carry weight limit.

Reaching the yellow meter on the carry causes you to move slower than usual and stamina drains faster when running. Once you reach the red meter, you stop moving entirely.

To mitigate this, drop heavy items such as extra weapons and armor and only carry the ones that you will likely use.

How to Increase Carry Weight Limit

Radiation

Radiation builds up if you are at close proximity to radioactive objects. Your Geiger counter will alert you to a radiation hazard using a crackling sound.

You can mitigate radiation exposure using anti-radiation medication or drinking alcohol.

Alcohol

Drinking alcohol causes a temporary debuff wherein your screen sways left and right and the colors become brighter. The swaying motion gets worse the more you drink alcohol.

Drowsiness

Drowsiness Notification
Drowsiness causes a decrease in combat effectiveness. You can drink energy drinks or sleep on a bed to remove this effect.
