The roof of the Red Fortress can only be reached during The Last Wish main mission of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to learn how to get to the top of the Red Fortress during the mission and find out if it's possible to reach it earlier in the game.

The roof of the Red Fortress is only accessible during The Last Wish main mission. After talking to Ritcher, you will be teleported outside of the Red Fortress at the Cooling Towers region to fight against the Monolithians.
Follow the remaining objective marker that points towards the building. Look for a ramp in the scaffolding and climb the ladder ahead so you can start your journey to the top.
| 1 |  In the second level, turn around and go up the stack of boxes. |

| 2 |  Turn left, set off the electric anomaly, and climb the ladder ahead. |
| 3 |  Set off the gravity anomaly, jump over the gap, and go up the ramp. |
| 4 |  Reach for the next ladder ahead climb it to the upper level. Monolithians will continue appearing again from here. |
| 5 |  Turn around and fight your way to the west. There's another stack of boxes here that you can use to reach the next level. |
| 6 |  Go up the ramp and turn around. The ladder on the other side will take you to the rooftops. |
| 7 |  Fight your way through a wave of Monolithians while heading northeast towards a ladder. |
| 8 |  Clear the Monolithians at the top and climb the staircase. |
| 9 |  Ignore the next staircase and turn right to where a crashed helicopter is. |
| 10 |  Climb the ladder and go to the other side of the helicopter to find Strelok. |
It is not possible to reach the top of the Red Fortress outside of The Last Wish mission. The stacks of boxes that you will need to use as a platform will not be there if you visit it early, preventing you from climbing the scaffolding and reaching the top.
The Red Fortress is located north of the Cement Factory in the Cooling Towers region.
