Wild Island is the home of the Noontide faction in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to see a list of all points of interest in Wild Island, including artifact farming locations, unique weapons, stashes, side missions, door codes, bases, and NPCs.

Legend

Wild Island is the third major region you explore during the main story of STALKER 2. It will be bordered by the Cement Factory to the north, Zaton to the southeast, Garbage to the northwest, and the Lesser Zone to the southwest.

In order to gain access to Shelter (the regional base), you will need the Ward Badge that you get from Col. Korshunov during the main mission, Back to Slag Heap. If you do not have the Ward Badge, you'll have to complete the side mission, A Heavy Burden, before you can access both the Shelter and Wild Island.

This area is a gravitational anomaly field. Using a Detector, you can farm Gravitational Artifacts at this location.
2 Scar
The Scar is an electro anomaly field. Using a Detector, you can farm Electro Artifacts at this location.
3 East of the Shelter
This small rift will be filled with gravitational anomalies. Using a Detector, you can farm Gravitational Artifacts at this location.
4 Sand Mine
This area is a gravitational anomaly field. Using a Detector, you can farm Gravitational Artifacts at this location.

1 High-Capacity Buket S-2 Magazine Stash
The stash is a bag that you can find in the underground section of the WPS. You'll enter this area during the side mission, Shift Change.
2 WPS Door Code Stash
Found in a small building to the southeast of the Waste Processing Plant. Use the code 2711 to open the locked door leading to the stash.

1 A Heavy Burden
Triggers after meeting Scar at the Sawmill during the main mission, Back to Slag Heap. You can only get this side mission if you did not show the Unusual PDA to both Scar and Korshunov during Back to Slag Heap.
2 Shift Change
Triggers automatically once you visit the Waste Processing Station during the main mission, Hot on the Trail.
3 A Sign of Hope
Can be triggered by talking to Prof. Lodochka at the Shelter once you finish the main mission, Hot on the Trail.
4 A Light at the End of the Tunnel
Can be triggered by speaking to Quiet at his camp on the bank opposite the southern edge of Wild Island.

1 Monolithian Stash Door
(Solution: 0505) Found in the basement of the Waste Processing Station during the Shift Change side mission. It will be found in the hallway after the area where you fought the Controller.
2 WPS Barred Door
(Solution: 2711) Found in a small building to the southeast of the Waste Processing Plant. The clues to get this code will be written on the back of the seats inside a nearby bus.

1 Sawmill
This location is where you finally talk face-to-face with Scar and his Spark faction during the main mission, Back to Slag Heap.
2 Stone Village
3 Waste Processing Station
A key location you have to visit and investigate during the main mission, Hot on the Trail. You are required to complete the side mission in this location (Shift Change) to advance the main story.
4 Polissya Collective Farm
5 Scar
6 Boathouse
One of five locations where you can get an electronic collar for both the main mission, A Minor Incident, and the side mission, In the Name of Science. The collar will be on a bayun.
7 Pontoon Depot
8 Shelter
This location is a Noontide base filled with ex-Monolithians. You'll have to visit this location and help Strider during the main mission, Hot on the Trail. After the events of the SIRCAA arc, this base will be abandoned and unusable.
9 Lodochka's Lab
A key location to the east of Shelter where Professor Lodochka resides. You'll visit this bunker during the main missions Hot on the Trail and Just Like the Good Old Days.
10 Azimuth Station
This is your destination after retrieving the Azimuth Key from the Waste Processing Plant. It is also where you complete the main mission, Chasing Ghosts.
11 Sand Mine
12 Quiet's Camp
A small trader outpost handled by Quiet - one of the Noontiders who left the Shelter to pursue their own goals.

Wild Island Base Location

Shelter is Located on the Central Island of Wild Island

Shelter is a Noontide base found in the middle of the Wild Island region. This base can serve as a temporary shelter in case of Emissions, and also a good resupply point while you're out in the Zone.

Shelter NPCs

All the listed NPCs will be found inside the Shelter base of the Noontide faction. However, if you want to get upgrades from Khors, you'll first need to complete the main mission, Hot on the Trail, to do so.

Quiet is a Noontider that left the group and their base at the Shelter. He sets up shop with his new group at Quiet's Camp - a structure on the bank opposite the southern side of Wild Island.

Not sure if anyone ever gonna read this, but I found a "Slug" (Chemical artifact) in Sand Mine, which is a Gravitational anamoly. It was not a regular artifact though, as it was in the hands of a dead stalker!
