A Long Overdue Visit is a main mission in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on for a complete walkthrough of A Long Overdue Visit, as well as the rewards for completing the mission.

At the end of Extreme Simplicity mission, you will be tasked with going to the SIRCAA. As soon as you arrive, the A Long Overdue Visit mission will begin. You will then be stopped by the SIRCAA Security for questioning. Exhaust the dialogue to progress the mission.
Press on forward until you reach the metal gate with two SIRCAA Security standing in front of it. Head inside the facility and you will be approached by Doctor Dalin. He will take the scanner from you and hand you a keycard to his room.
| 1 |  Proceed to the lobby at the other side of the ground floor level. Take a left and interact with the elevator at the end of the hallway. Use the card to head up to Doctor Dalin's Suite. |

| 2 |  Take a right to the main hallway of the suite and then enter the bedroom to the left. |
| 3 |  Get some sleep by interacting with the bed. |
In the same floor where you slept, enter the room at the end of the hallway and interact with the Old Photo behind the desk. This will reveal a safe with a keypad. Enter the code 2006 to open it and obtain the Battery Artifact.
Once you wake up, take the elevator going down. If the elevator won't go down, you can try to go out and go in again to make it work.
Turn left after leaving the elevator and enter the room labeled with the big B2. You should find Doctor Dalin there.
Talk to Doctor Dalin and exhaust his dialogue. You will get the Wait for the meeting to finish sub-objective prompt. The mission will end after waiting for a few seconds and you will then begin the The Forge of Progress mission.
