Best Ways to Earn Coupons

Find and Sell Artifacts

★ Click the Arrow button to minimize the left sidebar and see the full interactive map

★ Toggle the Full On icon to expand the map.

The best way to farm Coupons fast is to find Artifacts near Anomalies and sell them to Traders. You will mostly find Artifacts with weak stats at the starting area but as you venture out, you can find rarer Artifacts that sell for a good amount of Coupons.

Complete Side Missions

Another way to earn Coupons (Money) is to accept and complete side missions. Most side missions in the game will usually reward you with Coupons. Side objectives during the quest may even net you additional weapons, armor, or artifacts to add to your loot.

List of All Side Missions

Complete Repeatable Side Missions for a Steady Income

Certain NPCs in each regional Base will offer repeatable side missions that you can complete for a coupon reward. There will always be 3 types of missions, with the hardest netting you the most amount of Coupons. One example of a repeatable side mission is Warlock's Debtor.

Note: After completing a repeatable side mission, you'll have to wait a certain amount of time before the NPC offers you a new job to do. Keep checking back and asking about missions to check if one is available for you.

Sell Unused Gear and Weapons

Sell Unused Gear and Weapons

If you have any unused gear and weapons, you can sell them to Traders for Coupons. However, do note that Traders won't buy item if they are at low durability (indicated by the red shield icon in their tooltip).

If you find these low durability items (whether they be broken guns or armor), it's safe to leave them behind since repairing and reselling will never pay off due to the cost of repairs.

What to Spend Coupons On

Repairs or Upgrades for Weapons and Armor

Coupons are best used to repair or upgrade your weapons and armor via the Technician NPCs. Since the game has no level up system, this is the only way to truly make yourself stronger as you brave the Zone.

Repair weapons to prevent them from jamming and armor to keep their protection stats decent. Upgrade when you have a surplus of Coupons to keep your favorite weapon viable even during late game against armored opponents.

Weapon Attachments

If you aren't looking for weapon upgrades, then attachments are your next best investment in STALKER 2. Spend your Coupons to get modifications for your guns. These can range from Suppressors that make stealth gameplay possible, or weapon sights that give you clearer sight pictures while aiming.

Ammunition for Your Guns

Some of the more modern guns in STALKER 2 (like the GP37) will have fewer ammo sources compared to the ol' reliables like the AKM-74S. If you like using these late game guns, you'll have to set aside some coupons since Trader ammo prices will send you back out looking for artifacts to fill the new hole in your pocket.
