Talk to Diode

Talk to Diode at the Slag Heap, which is marked on your PDA Map and Compass, northwest of the Detention Camp. After talking to Diode, you will be directed to the Workshop, which is southwest of where the Slag Heap is.

Examine the Workshop for Any Clues

Get Down to Diode's Workshop by Jumping Down Concrete Cylinder

To go down to the workshop, look for a hole on the side of the conrete cylinder located outside of the main building. Drop down the hole and break the wooden planks at the bottom using your knife to enter the workshop.

Be careful of the Electrical Anomaly that explodes around the area, and use your bolts liberally.

Get Diode's Workshop Key Card

Once you jump down the shaft, melee the wooden planks beneath you to go further down. Get Diode's Workshop Keycard by going past the anomalies and ascending the stairs at the end of the hallway. There, you will find Zhora Desman's dead body, whom you can loot the keycard from.

Leave the Workshop Using the Keycard

Go back to the left side of the workshop area you jumped down in until you see the ladder. Use your bolts to trigger the anomalies before making your way up the ladder. From there, you should be able to see the door that requires the Keycard to exit the workshop.

Show Diode the Keycard

Go back to the Slag Heap, talk to Diode, and show him the Keycard. Afterward, Diode will give you the coordinates to Nestor's Stash.

Search Nestor's Stash

Look for Nestor's Stash by following the markers, which change and move around as you get closer to it. It will eventually lead you to a tunnel.

Follow it downward, and then you will have to platform your way upwards until you see a ladder. Take the ladder going up and interact with Richter by the broken crane strucutre.

Loot Nestor's Stash

Go further down the broken crane structure until you find Nestor's Stash. Loot Nestor's Flash Drive to progress the mission.

Note: You can do one of the next two objectives (Enter the Dig Site and Look Around the Labyrinth) to finish the mission.

Enter the Dig Site

Head to the Dig Site, marked on your PDA Map, northeast of the broken crane structure where you talked to Richter. Once you get to the Dig Site, look for a burrow entrance with a lot of wooden logs, you will be attacked by two Burer Mutants, so be ready. It is a good idea to throw a couple grenades at them to soften them up.

Heal Kiddo and Talk to Him

After taking out the two Burers, heal Kiddo and talk to him to get the clues about the Scanner scheme and progress the mission.

Look Around the Labyrinth

Go to the Labyrinth, marked on your PDA Map, northwest of the broken crane structure where you talked to Richter. Once you get close to the Labyrinth, you will be ambushed by multiple rodents, so be ready.

Fight Off the Attackers and Search the Bodies

Take out all of the attackers and loot the Varan Bandit's corpse (he is wearing a light brown colored coat and gas mask). Loot his PDA to get clues about the Scanner scheme and progress the mission.

Note: After finishing either Enter the Dig Site or Look Around the Labyrinth, the mission will end, and you will unlock the Deal with the Devil main mission.
