A Matter of Honor Walkthrough

A Matter of Honor is a Side Mission located in the Cement Factory in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to see the A Matter of Honor mission location, detailed walkthrough, and all its rewards!

Location and Mission Info

This mission is located on the Material Assets Storage in the Cooling Towers area. The quest automatically starts when you approach Maj. Rodetsky outside the building.

Maj. Rodetsky will reward you with Coupons for assisting them in the defense.

Help the Wounded (Optional)

As you enter the building, you will see some wounded stalkers lying on the floor. Approaching each of them will make a Heal option appear, which consumes a Medkit to mend the stalker's wounds.

Those that you used a Medkit on will be able to join the defense later on, so heal as many wounded as you can to make the mission's main objective easier.

Get Up Onto the Roof and Take the Sniper's Firing Position (Optional)

Next to the door you entered from is a ladder that leads to the roof. To the left is a dead sniper with his SVU-MK S-3 still on his body. You can use this sniper rifle to pick off the incoming enemies while they are still far from the building.

Help the Duty Members Repel the Assault

Soon after reaching the roof, enemies will appear from the north and press onto the storage building. Use the crates and sandbags here as cover while taking out the attackers. As mentioned earlier, the stalkers that you healed at the beginning of the mission will be able to join the defense.

Receive the Reward

Go back down after wiping the enemies out and talk to Maj. Rodetsky to claim your reward.
