| Mytryk Genius asked me to recover a gun he lost in the underground area beneath the Concrete Forest. Seems straightforward enough, but something doesn't add up about the stalker's tale. A weapon slipping from his grasp as if on its own, strange noises echoing in the dark.... I gotta keep my eyes peeled when I go down there. There's something creepy lurking underground, and I'd rather see it in my crosshairs than have it sneak up on me from behind. | |

You can get the Decider Assault Rifle if you decide not to return it to Mytryk. You will get nothing if you return the gun, as he is too broke to reward you.

Find Mytryk's Gun
Head Underground
Head underground to find Mytryk's Gun. You will encounter several rodents immediately, so make sure to pull out your weapon once you're down below.
Defeat Two Burers
Continue following the marker until you see two Burers. These enemies have a ton of health and can attack you using the guns on the ground. You can try to pick them up before they can use them.
Defeat them both to secure the area and explore safely and freely.
(Optional) Take the Loot from the Stash
Once the two Burers are down, you can take the loot from the stash containing a Bear Detector, some ammo, a medkit, and a grenade.
Get Mytryk's Gun
Head upstairs to find Mytryk's Gun, an almost broken Decider, in the hallway. Return to Mytryk after getting his gun.
(Optional) Loot the Safe Boxes
Before going back, you can also head deeper inside to find two safe boxes containing an Aeroprotection Gas Mask and a Blueprint: Camel Hydration System.
Keep the Gun or Return it to Mytyrk

After getting the gun, return to Mytryk where you first found him, and talk to him. You will be given two options here, either keep the weapon for yourself or return it to him.
Keep Mytryk's Gun
Lying about the types of mutants underground and letting his companion die already warrants enough reason not to return the gun. He won't also reward you for completing his request, so it's better to keep his weapon instead.
Return Mytryk's Gun
You won't get any benefit or reward for returning Mytryk's Gun to him. Unless you're doing "good stalker" roleplay, it's best if you take the gun with you instead.

Eigh-ball, the dead loner, isn't Mytryk Genius' "companion". If you confront him, Mytryk reveals that he followed Eight-ball to his stash to rob him to pay his own debt. Then he hauled ass when the Burers, the "uninvited guests", appeared.
