The Kaymanov Ending is one of the four endings in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to learn how to get the Kaymanov ending, all its major choices, and the achievement you get for unlocking it.

Choose Life is for the Living in Subtle Matter
 The second choice will vary depending on the faction you've been siding with until Subtle Matter. |
Your first major choice will occur during the main mission, Subtle Matter. After Scar catches you using the Orbita Station visiograph, you'll be given a choice. Answer with Life is for the living to progress towards the Kaymanov ending. This choice also locks you out of the Spark ending.
However, do note that by answering this way, the Sparkers Scar leaves behind will be hostile. In order to complete Subtle Matter after this happens, you will need to sneak out of the complex or kill all the Sparkers in Orbita Station.
Choose to Escape in Dangerous Liaisons
Your second major choice will occur during the main mission, Dangerous Liaisons (the mission immediately after Subtle Matter). When Colonel Kroshunov and his men catch you trying to leave the TCP, choose the option to Escape in order to progress towards the Kaymanov ending.
Since you chose to escape, you will first need to complete the main mission, Escape from the Cage before you can continue to The Boundary. From this point on, you will no longer be able to side with the Ward.
Dangerous Liaisons Walkthrough
Don't Shoot Dr. Kaymanov in the Last Wish
The final major choice that locks in the Kaymanov ending will occur during the main mission, The Last Wish. Once you are reunited with Dr. Kaymanov, choose the option to Lower the gun in order to spare him and defy Strelok. This choice guarantees that you will get the Kaymanov ending during the final mission, Leave No One Unsatisfied.
Kaymanov Route Sheds Light on the Origin of the Zone
If you chose to spare Kaymanov in the Last Wish, you will get an additional step during the mission that returns you to Orbita Station. Using the mind imprint of Dr. Kaymanov, you'll be able to view (via the visiograph) the origin of the Zone and how the C-Consciousness project failed.
Kaymanov Ending Achievement
Unlocks the Project Y Achievement
Getting the Kaymanov ending at the end of the final mission, Leave No One Unsatisfied, will unlock the achievement, Project Y. There are a total of 4 ending achievements available in STALKER 2.
