Subtle Matter is a main mission in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on for a complete walkthrough of Subtle Matter, as well as the rewards for completing the mission.

Subtle Matter Walkthrough
Get to Orbita Station
Go to the Orbita Station in the Burnt Forest region (marked on your map). The surrounding area will be filled with gravitational anomalies, so use your Bolts to get past them.
Enter Kaymanov's Office (Code 1995)
Go through the main entrance and defeat the poltergeist inside to prevent it from causing more trouble in the following mission objectives. Look for a keypad near one of the doors along the circular hallway and enter the code: 1995.
The door will then be unlocked. Enter it and proceed ahead to reach Kaymanov's Office.
Search Kaymanov's Office
Inside Kaymanov's Office, grab the Lab X15 Key Card on the desk and then go outside of the station.
Recalibrate the Antenna
Climb up the roof of the Orbita Station via the ladder on the side. Use Bolts to deactivate the electric anomalies on the ground and then go to the satellite. Flip the switch under it to recalibrate the antenna.
Go Down to Lab X15
Jump down from the roof and follow the waypoint towards a staircase that leads down to a locked door. Swipe the Lab X15 keycard on the card terminal to open the door to the lab.
Clear Out the Mutants in the Area
Enter the lower levels of the lab and kill the Burers in the area. Since there will be plenty of them, you can run around the corners of the hallways to take cover from their ranged attacks, or use it as an opportunity to circle around them and attack from behind.
Install the Cartridge in the Pod Control Room
Follow your waypoint to the Pod Control room. Approach the circular device and install the cartridge when prompted.
Get Into the Pod
Go outside of the pod control room and hop into the visiograph pod. After using the visiograph, Scar will catch you as you're about to leave and you will have to choose between two dialogue options. Both options will have a major impact on the ending you will get for the main story.

Leave the Complex
After the encounter with Scar, leave the X15 Lab and retrace your steps back up to the surface level. This will end the quest and you can then proceed with the Dangerous Liaisons mission.

Get Out of X15 Lab without Attracting Attention (Optional)
There will be soldiers patrolling the hallways of the lab. You can use stealth to quietly sneak your way out to complete the optional objective.

This walkthrough instructs you to retrace your steps back to the surface after the confrontation with Scar. It is much more beneficial, as well as easier to complete the optional stealth objective, to use the code found in the pod control room to open the code locked door and exit via the lower entrance. This will net you a blueprint flashdrive, an RPG-7U with several rockets, and an Operator Exoskeleton.
