Find Peat at the Old Station

Travel south to Old Station in Cordon region to find Peat and get information on the Psi Installation device. Go inside the second floor of the tower to find Peat's recording.

Ask Around the Rookie Village About the Stalker

Head to the Rookie Village north of the Old Station to find out where the wounded Peat went. They should tell you to go talk to the Medic in the village.

Talk to the Medic in the Rookie Village

Go to the village's medic, Whale and ask about Peat. Whale will let you see him after a few dialogues.

Try to Talk to the Injured Stalker

Talk to Peat on the next room after Whale has given you permission. However, he will not be in a good state to talk, but he will keep repeating the code to the Abandoned Tunnel, which is One-Twenty Six-Eight (1268).

Enter the Abandoned Tunnel (Code 1268)

Go west and enter the Abandoned Tunnel using the code from Peat. Be careful walking around the Abandoned Tunnel's entrance as there are some anomalies there.

Find the Portable Psi Installation

Head deeper into the tunnel find the Psi Installation Device. You should be able to find it in the railroad car further down the track.

Proceed with caution as there is group of mindless stalkers guarding the tunnel. You can try to fight them head on or sneak up on them for silent kills.

Take the Portable Psi Installation

The Psi Installation will activate and you won't be able to pick it up unless you turn it off or break it.

If you break it, you will receive less rewards once you finish the mission, so it's better if you find a way to deactivate it for more rewards.

Find a Way to Turn off the Psi Installation

To turn off the Emitter (Psi Installation), you will have to kill the Poltergeist wandering about the area. You should be able to defeat it quickly if you lure and hit it with the explosive tanks lying around.

You can also shoot it or kill it with grenades, but this can take a long time. Make sure to get and use Medkits to recover health survive!

Break the Psi Installation

If you don't have the means to kill the Poltergeist, you can choose to break the Psi Installation device instead. Shoot it until the blue light is out to grab it.

As mentioned earlier, doing this will yield less rewards once you complete the mission.

Take the Emitter to Sidorovich

Take the portable Psi Installation device to Sidorovich back in Rookie Village. He will reward you with coupons that depends on the current state of the Psi Installation device.

Decide if Sidorovich is Trustworthy or Not

Quiet will call you after the mission and ask if you receivef your reward. You can decide at this point if Sidorovich is trustworthy or not.

This could affect their relationship and the side missions related to them, but we're currently investigating it.
