6 | Return to Lens |
Head south from Lens's location and go to the last location of Mastiff's group. You can follow the quest marker to reach it without getting lost. You should be able to see an underground structure once you get there.
Once inside, enter the hallway on the right and look for a bag. Loot the Fuse from the bag and put it on the Circuit Breaker on the left. It will help you leave the place quickly once you're done with the objectives here.
Before progressing, you can go back to the entrance and walk inside the newly opened room to get some loot.
Continue following the hallway until you reach the room with Electric Anomalies. You can throw a bolt on each Electric Anomaly to cancel them out for a short time and create a safe path to the next room.
You should be able to hear Max Saturday once you pass through the electrified room. Secure the area first and then help him recover.
Talk to him afterward to learn more about the situation and get info on Mastiff's location.
Open the door behind Max to leave the underground. If you haven't put the power back on, return to the hallway before the Electric Anomaly room to get the fuse and place it on the circuit breaker.
You will encounter Electric Anomalies on the way out as well, so throw a bolt again to remove them temporarily.
Travel southeast once you're out to find Mastiff. You can follow the quest objective on the map to reach him quickly.
Once you reach the house where Mastiff is located, clear the area first as it is infested with hostile dogs. You will encounter four of them at once, so take them out with caution.
Head over to the Shack to find the entrance to the house. Follow the path to the ground until you reach the house. Climb at the top and talk to The Ninth.
Choices | |
---|---|
Ask About Mastiff's Group | Attack The Ninth |
You can decide to ask about Mastiff's Group from The Ninth, or you can attack him immediately. Whatever you choose will have a slight change to the mission's objective, so choose wisely.
Talk to The Ninth and ask about what happened with Mastiff's group. A Stalker Group will appear after talking to him. They want to hunt down The Ninth, and you can decide to help him or return to Lens immediately to report.
You can attack The Ninth before or after knowing what happened with Mastiff's group if you want to. Doing so will make him hostile, but you will be able to avoid a fight against the Stalker Group outside.
You can go back to Lens after this to complete the mission.
Choices | |
---|---|
Protect the Ninth | Leave the Place |
A Stalker Group will appear after talking to The Ninth. If you killed The Ninth during the conversation, you won't have this objective and you can go back to Lens to end the mission.
You can talk to the Stalker Leader outside to protect The Ninth against them. Helping The Ninth will lead into a shootout, but you will be rewarded with a Rubber Layer Blueprint by talking to him after the fight.
You can leave the place if you don't want to help The Ninth. Just choose the [Leave] option when talking to the Stalker Leader.
Leaving the place will count as not helping The Ninth, which means you won't get the Rubber Layer Blueprint reward from him.
Return to Lens to complete the mission and get your rewards. You will receive 500 Coupons from him.
