List of Contents
Choice | Effect |
---|---|
Eternal Spring | Allows you to progress towards the Spark or Ward Endings. Locks you out of the Strelok and Kaimanov Endings. |
Life is for the living | Allows you to progress towards the Strelok, Kaimanov, or Ward Endings. Locks you out of the Spark Ending. |
During the main mission, Subtle Matter, Scar asks you in Orbita Station to pick one of the two choices. By choosing Eternal Spring, you are limited to only getting the Spark or Ward Endings depending on your next major choice during the main mission, Dangerous Liaisons.
Choosing Life is for the living allows you to choose between either the Strelok, Kaimanov, or Ward Endings. However, do note that the next choice in Dangerous Liaisons also has the potential to lock you out of the Ward Ending.
The choice of Eternal Spring is the only trigger that will allow you to get the Spark Faction ending. If you pass this up now, you will be locked out of the Spark Ending unless you reload to a save before this particular choice.
Note: The choice in Dangerous Liaisons named Escape will have a Spark Faction logo. However, if you did not choose Eternal Spring during Subtle Matter, choosing Escape then will only lock you in for either the Strelok or Kaimanov endings.
The choice of Life is for the living is only one of 3 choices you have to make if you want to get either the Strelok or Kaimanov endings for STALKER 2. If you do not choose this, your only options afterward will be the Spark or Ward Endings.
Regardless of your choice here, as long as you choose Escape during Dangerous Liaisons, you'll still be able to lock in the Ward Ending for your playthrough.
