Should You Choose Eternal Spring or Life is For the Living?

Life is For the Living for Strelok, Kaymanov, or Ward Endings

The choice of Life is for the living is only one of 3 choices you have to make if you want to get either the Strelok or Kaymanov endings for STALKER 2. If you do not choose this, your only options afterward will be the Spark or Ward Endings.

Ward Endings are Unaffected by This Choice

Regardless of your choice here, as long as you choose Escape during Dangerous Liaisons, you'll still be able to lock in the Ward Ending for your playthrough.
