Complete A Long Overdue Visit

Talking to Doctor Dalin

The first step of this mission is part of the A Long Overdue Visit main quest. Head on over to the SIRCAA to meet Dr. Dalin. He will hand you the key to a suite where you can sleep for the night. Once you wake up, Strider will then inform you about the Monolith, this will then officially trigger the In Search of the Miracle quest.

After that, meet Dr. Dalin at the B2 room and wait for the meeting to end.

Complete The Forge of Progress

Meeting Professor Hermann

The next section of the mission takes part during the Forge of Progress. Speak to Dr. Kryvenko in the ARL and then enter the ventilation shaft just outside of SIRCAA that will lead you to an underground facility. At the end of the facility, you will jump into a Spatial Anomaly that will transport you to an abandoned complex.

In the abandoned complex, meet up with Professor Hermann and then follow him to another Spatial Anomaly to be transported back to the SIRCAA.

Confronting Dr. Dalin

The last part of the In Search of a Miracle happens during the Wishful Thinking mission. Here, Doctor Dalin and Colonel Kurshonov instruct you to interact with the Monolith at D1 Hall.

After experiencing bizarre visions of the STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl endings and fighting off illusions of Ward soldiers, you will snap back to reality and wake up. This will complete the In Search of a Miracle mission, and you can then continue with the Wishful Thinking quest.
