4 Slots in Early Game | |||
---|---|---|---|
Weird Ball | Pebble or Whirlwind | Sapphire | Bubble or Urchin |
You can get a suit with 4 slots as early as right after Behind Seven Seals, when you're able to leave the Lesser Zone. The PSZ-12V Bulat has 4 artifact slots and it can be found at the Army Warehouses in the Chemical Plant region, directly west of Zalissya.
The Weird Ball is a legendary artifact that you can get in the Lesser Zone, inside the Bulba anomaly, east of Zalissya. It's a set artifact drop, so a guaranteed find in the early game, but it's also very useful for its unique effect: reducing bullet damage when standing still.
How to Get Weird Ball Artifact
Artifact | Status Effects |
---|---|
Whirlwind |
Radiation: Weak Endurance: Weak Physical Protection: Weak |
Pebble |
Radiation: Weak Endurance: Weak Physical Protection: Weak |
In the early stages of the game, you'll encounter a lot of gravitational anomalies. These would be good areas to farm the Whirlwind or Pebble artifacts, as they're both commonly found in gravitational anomalies.
Both offer slight (Weak) buffs to Endurance and Physical Protection, while only having a weak Radiation status effect.

---|---|
Sapphire |
Radiation: Weak Bleeding Resistance: Weak Endurance: Weak |
If you go through electro anomalies (which also appear frequently in the Lesser Zone), you could potentially find a Sapphire. These provide 2 slight (Weak) buffs to Bleeding Resistance and Endurance (both pretty critical early game stats), while only having a weak Radiation punishment status effect.
Artifact | Status Effects |
---|---|
Bubble |
Radio Protection: Medium |
Urchin |
Radio Protection: Medium |
The Bubble and Urchin artifacts give you Medium buffs to Radio Protection, without having the Radiation status effect (as most artifacts do). These are found in acid anomalies.
One possible farming area is the acid pool part of a cave underneath the Old Mill. However, not if your Piece of Cake side mission is active, as you'll be guaranteed to find Mold there instead.
