Make Sure to Take Sashko Cheery's Gun

Taking Sashko Cheery

During the events of A Big Score, you'll be ambushed by bandits upon arriving at the Car Park. In order to lure Zakhar out in the follow-up quest, Deceive the Deceiver, you'll have to loot the Spitter (a unique Buket S-2) from the body of one of the bandits named Sashko Cheery.

Akopyan, the loner you rescue during A Big Score, will also tell you to look the gun if you talk to him after dealing with your assailants. However, do note that this event is not exclusively tied to the side mission. You'll be able to encounter it without starting A Big Score by going to the Car Park, directly.

Do Not Sell the Spitter Gun to Avoid a Softlock

Make sure that you do not sell the Spitter gun at this point in the side quest as you will not be able to lure Zakhar out if you do so.

Choose the Show Spitter Dialogue Option

Lure Zakhar Away from Slag Heap

Head to Slag Heap and talk to Zakhar Babay. Choose the [Show Spitter] Akopyan says hi dialogue option to lure him out of Slag Heap.

Kill Zahkar Before He Reaches His Men

Kill Zakhar

There is a bug in the side quest that causes Akopyan's waypoint to disappear once you lure out and escort Zakhar to his men. This makes it impossible to complete the side quest.

A workaround for this is to kill Zahkar once he is outside of Slag Heap and just before he reaches his men. The best time to do this is when he is about to loot his stash.

Make sure to save your game before showing the Spitter gun to Zakhar so you can reload in case you encounter this bug.
