STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl

How to Get the Spitfire and Stats

This is a guide on how to get the Spitfire, an Assault Rifle in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Learn how to get the Spitfire, its stats, such as damage, and weapon properties like weight and the accepted caliber.

How to Get the Spitfire

Obtained from the X5 Lab During In Search of Past Glory

During the main mission, In Search of Past Glory, you will be tasked to get the Suppressor Blueprint in the X5 Lab under the Ahroprom Factory. After you get the blueprint and defeat the Controller, you will enter a series of tunnels that lead to the lab's exit. Before going to the end, explore the tunnels a bit until you find a pipe opening with a yellow ladder inside of it.

Climb the ladder (beware of the tripwire at the top) to reach a large room with an open door. Enter the open door and follow the hall until you reach the table that holds the Spitfire and a PDA linked to Strelok - the legendary stalker.

1
After the Controller fight, you'll soon find yourself dropping down into a tunnel that has acid anomalies. Instead of going towards the anomalies, go right.
2
After turning right, you should see an opening to your left that leads into a small room. Go through it to progress.
3
Exit the small room via the large doorway to reach the hall with the pipe opening.
4
Next, climb the yellow ladder inside the pipe to reach a room in the upper level. Make sure to keep an eye out for the tripwire at the top of the ladder. Disarm it before entering the room.
5
This new room will contain a stash that you can loot. After looting it, head through the only open doorway in the room.
5
At the end of the hallway you'll find a table with the Spitfire.

Coupled mags don't work with this, contrary to what's stated above - The weapon comes with integrated extended mags which bar the weapon from accepting coupled mags..

A nod to the similar working assault rifle from strelok in the first installment it even is found in his hideout too. Downside is that its now the short barelled variant which has less damage and more spread so its more or less useless now. Also you fin it late in game where you already have much better weapons.
