How to Get the Combatant

Obtain from Col. Korshunov

Getting the Combatant

The Combatant can be obtained if you show the Unusual PDA to Col. Korshunov and Dr. Dalin during the main mission, Back to the Slag Heap. However, do note that this won't be a reward if you sided with Zotov during the main mission, A Needle in a Haystack.

Only players that gave the Ward Sensors to Richter will have the opportunity to get the Combatant. Since Korshunov already knows you if you sided with the Ward, he will only offer you the Ward Badge for showing the Unusual PDA.

it's a reskin of Valiks but with standard ak damage and accuracy (the pen stats are the same as Valiks)

The condition about siding with Richter at the beginning seems to be wrong since I did side with Richter and Gafer in Zalissya and still didn't get the interrogation cutscene that gives you the gun in Slag Heap. What I THINK might be the actual trigger for getting this weapon is not asking Zotov about Solder in Zalissya at all. In my playthrough I have asked both the Gaffer and Zotov about information related to Solder but gave the sensors to Richter.
