Detection Meter Appears When Near Enemies

When you enter an area with enemies nearby, an arc will appear below the compass. This is the detection meter that shows if you remain undetected. If the white color on the arc is filled, this means that the enemies have detected you and will attack on sight.

Crouch to Activate Stealth

Press or hold the Left Control key to crouch and activate stealth. This allows you to sneak past enemies and avoid combat. Pay attention to the white semi-circle that shows you if you're within sight of an enemy. Once it reaches full, enemies will be alerted, breaking stealth and dropping you into combat.

Sneak Up on Enemies to Perform a Stealth Kill

You can also perform stealth kills when you sneak up on enemies. Equip your Knife by hitting 1, sneak up on the enemy, and press the Left Mouse Button to perform a stealth kill.

Equip a Suppressor to Your Gun

You can add a suppressor to your gun to perform long-range stealth kills. Note that you need to check if the suppressor is compatible with your gun as not all guns can be equipped with one.

To equip a suppressor on PC, you can drag and drop a compatible suppressor attachment on the gun via the inventory screen. Alternatively, you can hold T while your gun is pulled out to bring up the quick attachment menu, allowing you to equip a suppressor on the fly.
