How to Get Down from the Cooling Tower

Reaching the top of the Cooling Tower is an easter egg in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Read on to learn how to get to the top of the Cooling Tower and how to get down from it.

How to Get Down from the Cooling Tower

Jump Down from the Gap in the Railings

Look for the gap in the railings then walk off the platform. You take no fall damage doing this.

If you find yourself teleported to the top of the Cooling Tower in STALKER 2, then the only way down is to step off the ledge at the top. Run around the platform you got teleported to until you find a gap in the railings. Once there, simply walk off the platform and you should land on a set of anomalies that cushion your fall.

Since the anomalies are very far they do not enter render distance, which means that in order to get down, you'll need to take a leap of faith - an easter egg courtesy of the STALKER 2 developers.

How to Reach the Top of the Cooling Tower

Go to the South of the Cooling Tower's Fire Whirl Anomaly

To reach the top of the Cooling Tower, you'll want to head to the south side of the Cooling Tower with the Fire Whirl anomaly. Here, you should see a makeshift structure with a set of ladders that takes you up to the outer shell of the cooling tower.

Climb the Ladders and Jump Into the Anomaly

Climb the ladders to reach the top of the makeshift structure. On the topmost platform you should see a spatial anomaly similar to the one you see during The Forge of Progress. Jump into it and it should take you to the top of the cooling tower.
