The Zone Map
| Icon | How to Use |
|---|---|
 | Show Names This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown. |
 | Show Pins This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins that you have already marked as acquired. |
 | Fullscreen This button will change the map display to fill the screen. |
 | Search Mode Toggle This button will display a search bar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name. |
 | Icon Mode Toggle In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again. |
 | All Pins This button is shown along with the Icons on the right when there are over 6 types of pins. Click it for a full selection of all available pin types. |
 | Counter Tracks the number of pins you have of a certain type. The pin type shown is set to the page and currently cannot be changed; however, all pin type counters can be viewed by clicking the checklist icon on the right side. |
 | View All Counters This icon is found on the right side of the Counter. When a map has more than one pin type, click this icon to see Counters for all pin types. |

| Point of Interest | Meaning |

| Bases |
Settlements of NPCs, vendors, and other services. Recommended to find the nearest one before fully exploring a new zone. |
| Guide |
Fixes fast travel points that will cost you some Coupons. |
| Technician |
For weapon and armor repair, as well as upgrades and attachments. |
| Stash |
Loot stashes that pop up on your map after collecting a PDA. You can claim these if you know where they are, even without the PDA. Usually just contain supplies like ammo and heals. |
 Locations |
Points of interest that could be occupied by anomalies, enemies and mutants, or be completely abandoned. |
| Artifacts |
You can farm specific types of artifacts at different anomaly spots. |
 Medic |
For healing services. |
 Trader |
For buy and sell of goods and equipment. |
 Attachments |
Locations to get specific attachments. |
 Unique Artifacts |
Specific locations to get unique and "weird" artifacts. |
 Exoskeletons |
Location to get Exoskeleton and Exosuits. |

The STALKER 2 map covers 20 regions, with a map size of 64 square kilometers of explorable area.
Despite being a sequel to a 17-year-old game, STALKER 2 reimagines the world of Chornobyl in a modern light, and still pays homage to the roots of its predecessor. It combines locations from previous games, such as Red Forest (from Clear Sky) and Prypiat (from Call of Pripyat), with new regions made for the sequel.
