The Brood, Garbage Region
Bruise is located in The Brood POI in the northwestern part of the Garbage Region. Bruise's marker will initially be red and you will be unable to trade with him, but you can turn the marker white by killing Shah.
| 1 | Obtain Shah's Mate |

 Shah's Mate can be obtained in a stash inside a hole in the wall northwest of the Slag Heap. The hole in the wall can be found under a dark tunnel embedded into a hill. However, the hole will be blocked until you talk to Docent in the No Honor Among Thieves side mission. | 2 | Show the Guard Shah's Mate |
 Once you arrive at The Brood, the guard will tell you that you are not allowed inside, and you have the option to leave or attack. But, if you have Shah's Mate in your inventory, you have the option to show the guard the gun, and he will let you inside. |

| 3 | Talk to Shah and Kill Him |
 Talk to Shah and exhaust his dialogue. Regardless of which dialogue path you take, it all ends in him being hostile. Be sure to talk to him first before killing him, as killing him without dialoging will not turn Bruise's marker white. There might still be one or two men who will still be loyal to Shah, so deal with them as well. |
Talk to Bruise (Bugged)
Once you kill Shah, Bruise will move out of the building along with a couple of Shah's men and Bruise's marker will now be white. Unforunately, he is currently bugged, and will just tell you to get lost whenever you attempt to talk or trade with him despite his marker being white.
If you go to Slag Heap, sleep on a bed, and go to his current location, he will start to roam around north of The Brood with the two gunmen but there is still no option to trade with him.
