Many will recognize this iconic base camp as the starting area of the original STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. It is located at the southern tip of the of the map, east of the Fault where we entered at the beginning of the game.

These NPCs can be found within Rookie Village. Technicians are merchants that can repair and upgrade your armor. Guides allow you to fast travel to previously unlocked areas. Traders can you money in exchange for Artifacts. Medics sell you healing and recovery items for the road.

Cordon Death Cave

Death Cave is a small cavern located east of Rookie Village in Cordon. This cave is home to multiple vortex anomalies where you can farm artifacts. It is also the location of an AS Lavina, however take caution as this area is guarded by a Controller

This small cluster of gravitational anomalies can also be a spot to farm the following artifacts. This farming spot is located north of the Rookie Village, east of The Sphere.
