Get to the third floor and you'll see Captain Senkevych, the commanding officer of Icarus.

Talk to Dr. Kryvenko (Optional)

Doc Kryvenko

Talking to Dr. Kryvenko creates a decision point on whether you will side with him or Senkevych. Choosing either determines choices available to you later in this main mission. It is better to side with the doctor because choosing the captain will add steps to the aftermath of this mission.

Choices
Side with Kryvenko Side with Senkevych

Side with Dr. Kryvenko

Choosing the dialogue option “I'll get your data” will side you with Kryvenko. He will give you a flash drive to gather data from the psi-antennas.

Side with Capt. Senkevych

Choosing the dialogue option “I have more confidence in Senkevych” will side you with the captain. You will not have the option of retrieving data before destroying the psi-antenna.

Break psi-antennas / Retrieve data

Psi-Antenna Locations

Psi-Antenna Locations

Two are located within the territory of Camp Icarus, while the third one lies northeast outside the territory.

1
The first antenna is found in the southwest section of the camp where a lot Ward soldiers are stationed.
2
The second antenna is found on top of the tower on the northeast section of the camp.
3
The third antenna can be found on the roof of a small building located northeast in the forest.

Return to Camp Icarus

Whomever you choose to side with when you first talked to Dr. Kryvenko in the optional objective, will determine to whom you will return to.

Choices
Kryvenko Route Senkevych Route

Return to Dr. Krevynko

Return to Kryvenko

If you chose to gather intel from the antenna, return the data to the doctor. He'll tell you check the Saturn bunker area and inspect the psi-beacon without destroying it.

Return to Capt. Senkevych

Report to Senkevych

If you chose to destroy the antennas, return to the captain. He'll tell you that the signal may be coming from the base itself. He tells you to check the Saturn bunker area and destroy the beacon emitting the signal.

Explore the Saturn bunker area

Saturn Bunker

After talking to your respective NPC, you must go underground in the Saturn bunker area. You will be granted passage and your next objective is to find the psi-beacon.

An Electro Anomaly called Tesla is circling one of the rooms in the bunker. This anomaly is attracted to artifacts and will chase you if you have one equipped. Fortunately, it moves slower than Skif does and cannot enter narrow spaces.

Additionally, getting close to a Psi-beacon causes hallucinations of enemies to appear, which can attack and damage you. Try to complete the objective as fast as you can before the hallucinations get worse.

Choices
Kryvenko Route Senkevych Route

Inspect the psi-beacon

Inspect Beacon

Once you reach the psi-beacon, turning it off and inspecting it will get you the battered flash drive. Afterwards you must exit the bunker and report back to the doctor.

Destroy the psi-beacon

Destroy Beacon

Once you reach the psi-beacon, attack it with your knife to destroy it. Collect fragments of the psi-beacon as an additional objective. Afterwards you must exit the bunker and report back to the captain.

Exit the bunker area

After exiting the bunker, you must return to the respective NPCs you have initially chosen.

Destroying the emitter seems to be bugged? Returning with the pieces the doctor only says "so you decided to get on the captain's good side?"

There's no "Controller". There is, however, the psi-emitter that you're supposed to deactivate. The "ball of electricity" is the kind of anomaly you find in the first minutes of the game (to be fair, the game lacks a "codex" and thus you have no way of knowing that wearing an artifact draws it to you). This is why you don't skip dialogues and actually pay attention to what's being said, children.
