Stalker 2 Should You Kill Docent

This is a choice guide on whether you should kill or spare Docent in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Find out if you should kill or spare Docent during the No Honor Among Thieves mission, as well as the outcomes and consequences of both choices.

(Spare Docent)		 Docent will give you the coordinates to Shah's Stash which will give you the Shah's Mate SMG.
No Way.
(Kill Docent)		 Docent will draw his rifle and turn hostile.
You can loot a generic AKM-74S from his corpse along with other randomized loot.

The choice occurs at the end of the No Honor Among Thieves mission, where you confront Docent about Huron's missing shipment which he stole. He will give you the coordinates to the Sha's Stash if you decide to spare him. Killing him does not seem to offer any benefit other than getting a generic AKM-74S.

The Shah's Mate can also be used to gain entrance to the Brood in the northwestern part of the Garbage Region and interact with the NPCs in the building. There, you will find the trader Bruise and Shah himself.

Sparing Docent

It is better to spare Docent as you will get the coordinates to the Shah's Stash which contains the Shah's Mate SMG which is a good upgrade to the normal Viper-5.

Alternatively, if you are building up Skif's character a certain kind of way, you can spare him, get the coordinates to the Shah's Stash, and kill him.
