A female Burmy will evolve into Wormadam once it reaches level 20.
Wormadam's cloak will depend on which cloak Burmy was as it evolved. Its typing and base stats differ from each cloak.
A male Burmy will evolve into Mothim once it reaches level 20. Burmy's cloak has no effect on Mothim as it only has one form.
Best Natures | ||
---|---|---|
Impish (+Def, -Sp.Atk) |
Careful (+Sp.Def, -Sp.Atk) |
Female Burmy is often evolved into either Sandy Cloak or Trash Cloak Wormadam due to their great defensive stats and unique typing. Impish is the best Nature for Sandy Cloak Wormadam due to its great Defense stat and decent Attack stat.
Trash Cloak Wormadam on the other hand has balanced defenses and offenses, which makes a Careful nature attractive.
Best Natures | ||
---|---|---|
Modest (+Sp.Atk, -Atk) |
Timidl (+Spd, -Atk) |
When male Burmy evolves into Mothim, its stats become more offensive-oriented. While it has balaned offensive stats, it's best to get special attack-boosting nature since it learns Quiver Dance, one of the best boosting moves in the game.
Both Modest and Timid are good choices, with the only difference being whether you want to Mothim to hit harder or move faster after a Quiver Dance.
