On Island Chapters, there will be a lot of mobs and Brutes (Minotaurs) you will encounter. LE 5 will shine on that setup because of its fire rate and penetration power, especially if you have it upgraded at least to its mid-level. It also has high accuracy, which makes it good for mid-range encounters!
If you want to do a New Game Plus run and beat the game again, LE 5 will come in handy. It will help you breeze through the chapters, especially the Castle and Island Chapters, still because of its ability to shoot through enemies.
It is also good to consider upgrading it first if you're planning on a Hardcore or Professional mode to match the enemies' aggressiveness and massive health.
New Game Plus Guide and What Carries Over
The LE 5 has a large magazine size and fast rate of fire which are good to use when fighting multiple enemies at once. You can kill several enemies using the LE 5 without having to reload from time to time!
Due to the LE 5's high precision, it can actually be used at Mid-range to fight enemies and keep your distance. This allows you to work around with distance and your environment, weaving through enemies without taking damage.
