Chapter Summary

The president's daughter is now free from Saddler's clutches. Now's the time to find a way out of the island and escape the Los Illuminados.

Escape From the Island

Route Map

Rescue Ada

Exit the lab through the gate and give Ashley boost so she can drop the ladder on your left. Follow this path back to the Sanctuary.

Go around the rubble and through the golden doors on the right side. Keep going until you reach the one and only merchant room in this chapter. Tune up your best weapons for the upcoming fight.

Head outside and take the lift down the area where Ada is being held.

Defeat Saddler

First Phase

Now for the final boss of the game. Saddler's transformed body in the remake retains the same weakpoints from the original. He will have an eyeball on each of his four legs that you need to damage until it closes. Once all four leg eyes are closed, Saddler will be staggered, allowing you to impale the eye on his mouth for heavy damage.

You can circle around the platforms as he chases you to avoid his melee attacks, though he can still attack you from afar by unleashing torrents of black substances. At the end of the platforms are switches that raise a bridge to the other end for a few seconds, just in case you get cornered.

Shoot the explosive barrels whenever Saddler gets close to one to deal damage and stun him for a while. This will give you ample time to shoot the eyes on his legs.

Second Phase

Dealing enough damage triggers a cutscene and moves you to the second phase, where Saddler enters one final transformation. Unload all your bullets on the amber-like core while dodging the tentacle attacks.

When Ada tosses the Rocket Launcher (Special) to you, blast the core with it to take down Saddler once and for all.

How to Beat Saddler

Escape From the Island

Route Map

You have around two minutes to escape the island. Just keep following the path and ignore any enemy that you'll come across until you reach the boatyard where the water scooter is. Use the key Ada gave you and be on your way.

The game's not over until it's over as you can still fail if the scooter receives too much damage. Avoid the floating debris and don't get too close to the barriers to keep the ride intact. Survive until you reach the end of the tunnel to complete the final chapter and the game's main story!

This is your last chance to visit the merchant before the final boss. Make sure you're fully prepared by purchasing any weapon and upgrades that you might need for the upcoming boss fight.

You can find this Clockwork Castellan in the large room right before reaching the jetski near the end of the game. Look for the green forklift at the northeastern side of the room to find the Castellan above some crates.

The Velvet Blue can be found in a silver container hanging on top of a scaffolding right outside Luis' Laboratory.

Illuminados Pendant

The Illuminados Pendant can be found at the end of the Sanctuary room attached to a stone obelisk. Crouch under a fallen pillar to your left to get to the back of the room.

Gold Ingot

Map Location	In-Game Location

The Gold Ingot can be found in a brown chest near the Loading Docks Merchant.
