This is a walkthrough for Separate Ways - Chapter 2 of Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4). Read on for a detailed walkthrough, route maps for each objective, a list of important items obtainable, and tips on how to complete this chapter!

Chapter Summary
After escaping the Black Robe in the Castle, Ada must rendezvous with their asset at the Village. Ada must traverse back from the mountain cliffs to reach the Church.

Grapple Your Way to the Villa
Once past the cliffside, continue on your path, shooting only when you cannot out-maneuver your enemies. Most of the Ganados are sluggish and won't really put up a fight.
Make Use of Explosive Barrels
Once you reach the Villa, a mob of Ganados will try to swarm your position. You can direct them near explosive barrels so you can take out as many as you can with as few bullets.
Solve the Cliffside Door Puzzle
The Cliffside Door Puzzle is a puzzle found in Chapter 2 of the Separate Ways DLC. It can be solved by pressing the following buttons. Starting from the center top button, skip 2 buttons going clockwise, press the next button, then skip 2 more clockwise, and press the third button afterwards.

Reach the Church
Once you reach the Church, a cutscene will play out and the villagers will stop attack Leon in the Village Square. This will also temporarily stop the villagers from attacking you. Make your way to the Village afterwards.

Defeat the Black Robe in the Village Square
Once you reach the Village, the Black Robe will appear once more and attack you. This will be just like the battle in the Audience Chamber. All you need to do is deal enough damage to the Black Robe with glowing red eyes, and another cutscene will play out.

Give Leon a Helping Hand
After defeating the Black Robe, simply make your way to the Village Chief's manor. When you get there, interact with the gate and another cutscene will play signaling the end of the chapter.

Conserve Ammo, Use Melee
You can save bullets by performing grapple melee attacks when an enemy is staggered. It is more efficient to do this when a group of enemies have clumped together because even though you only target 1 enemy, you end up hitting 2 or more enemies as you kick.
Alternatively, while it is in your instinct to mow down and kill every enemy you see, it is highly recommended that you shoot only when necessary. Most enemies can be evaded easily, and only some are actually in your way. It would save you time and bullets by focusing on the goal.
Complete the Blue Medallion Request
While this is optional, completing this request easily gives you 6 spinels which you can use to acquire the Treasure Map from the Merchant making money farming a whole lot easier.

Acquire the Treasure Map
The Merchant can be found as soon as you reach the Town Hall. He will have his usual wares, but make sure to get the Treasure Map as it makes money farming so much easier. This only costs 2 Spinels, which can easily be acquired by completing the aforementioned request.
Shoot The One with Glowing Red Eyes
In the earlier battle with the Black Robe, you thought shooting illusions was the way to discern which one was the true enemy, but you will learn right away that it tends to waste a lot of bullets.
While it may not be easily noticeable, you can keep on evading the Black Robe's attacks and shoot only the one with glowing red eyes. This will ensure that you only waste bullets on the real target.
Chapter 2 Completion Reward
Completing the second Chapter of the DLC rewards you with the First Time's Free achievement as well as 200 CP, which you can use to buy exclusive content at the Extras Shop.
