Players can have an easier time in Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4) by enabling Aim Assist and tweaking a few things in their control settings. Read on to learn the best settings to have better aim in the game to make all your shots count!

Best Settings For Aiming

Enable Aim Assist

Enable Aim Assist to lessen the chore of dragging your camera to where your enemies are while aiming. Aim Assist helps the player by immediately snapping onto an enemy, making aiming easier. Note that Aim Assist does not work on animals like crows and chickens.

Choose Snap and Follow Option

The best Aim Assist option is Snap and Follow; this allows the player's aim to snap on an enemy's limb and follow its movement which is great against enemies that move around a lot.

Set the Aim Assist Max Speed to Highest

Setting the Aim Assist Max Speed to the highest gives players a faster snap on an enemy's limb, allowing for quick aim and shoot strategies with less chance of wasting ammo. It's also advantageous because various enemies have different body part weaknesses, so setting the speed of Aim Assist to the highest makes it easier to lock on their body parts.
