Aiming for a 100% completion of the game will take around 30-35 hours. This includes completing all of the optional requests and tracking down all collectibles and upgrades.

An average playthrough of the original Resident Evil 4 (2005) on Normal difficulty takes around 15-20 hours, including main story completion and partial completion of side content, and about 30 hours in total for 100% completion.

The Mercenaries Mode Resident Evil 4 Remake

The Mercenaries mini-game was confirmed by the developers as part of the Resident Evil 4 Remake! This mini-game requires you to kill enemies within a time limit.

In the original game, scoring better in Mercenaries Mode allowed you to unlock new characters and a handcannon in the main game. Increase your combo limit and delay the chopper to get the highest rankings possible!

Checkmark Professional Difficulty and Round Two Mode

Professional Difficulty and Round Two

Finishing the original game allowed you to unlock the Professional Difficulty Mode which increases the durability of enemies! Additionally, a game mode similar to New Game Plus entitled Round Two allowed players of the original to play the game again with access to everything they had! They also gained access to the merchant screen before starting that save.

New Items

Players will also receive special costumes and purchase new weapons upon finishing! In the original game, there were 3 special costumes and 3 weapons to snag.
