Tips and Strategy for Increasing Time Limit
Get Green Time Orbs +30-90 seconds
Defeating Elite Enemies +20-30 seconds
Defeating Enemies with Knives +4 seconds
Defeating Enemies with Headshot +2 seconds
Defeating Enemies with Melee +2 seconds
Defeating Enemies with Explosives +1 second

Get Green Time Orbs

Acquire the green time orbs scattered across the stage to gain +30-90 seconds. There are a total of 5 green time orbs per stage.

Defeating Elite Enemies

Defeat elite enemies that spawn to get a +20-30 seconds time increase. Make sure to prioritize these enemies as they spawn!

When 20 Enemies are Killed Cultist (Staff)
When 50 Enemies are Killed Garrador
When 70 Enemies are Killed Cultist (Staff)

Defeating Enemies with Knives

Defeat enemies with knives to get additional +4 seconds. Krauser is the best Mercenaries character for this due to his increased knife power and durability.

Knife Durability

Defeating Enemies with Headshot

Defeat enemies with a Headshot to gain +2 seconds. Take advantage of this against enemies with no head protection.

Defeating Enemies with Melee

Defeating enemies using melee will give you an additional +2 seconds. Melee attacks are the action prompts that appear when you stun an enemy. To stun an enemy, shoot them either in the head or legs.

Defeating Enemies with Explosives

Defeat enemies with explosives to get an additional +1 second. Make use of the red explosive barrels found on the stages or use Luis' mayhem mode ability to get those explosive kills!
