You can't store anything but weapons, weapon attachments, and First Aid Spray in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Read on to find out which items you can't store, how to free up space in your inventory, and how to store items!

Why Can't I Store Items?

Only Weapons and Weapon Attachments Can Be Stored

You can't store ammo, recovery items, crafting materials, or throwables. You can only store weapons, weapon parts, and First Aid Spray.

You Can't Store Destructible Knives

While technically weapons, destructible knives such as the Boot Knife and the Kitchen Knife can't be stored either.

How to Store Items

Directly From Your Inventory or From a Typewriter

Storage

You can store items from both your Attache Case and from any Typewriter you come across. Storing items this way removes them from your inventory and restricts you from using them. However, you can take reclaim them from any Typewriter as well.

How to Make Space in Inventory

Full Inventory

If you're running out of space in your inventory there are several things you can do to free up some space such as selling excess items, upgrading your attache case, or utilizing the crafting feature. For Recovery Items, you can consume them even if you've only taken a small amount of damage so far to free up space.
