Pull all three levers and activate the courtyard flags to solve the Courtyard Maze Puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4). Read on to learn where to find all three levers in Chapter 9, how to activate Courtyard Flags, and where to find them inside the Castle.

Upon entering the courtyard in Chapter 9, you will have to solve the Courtyard Maze Puzzle to progress further in this chapter. You can solve this puzzle by pulling all three levers to activate the courtyard flags. These levers can be found on the towers that are scattered throughout the courtyard area.
| 1st Lever |  Located at the center of the Courtyard near the stairs. |

| 3rd Lever |  Can be found on the Southwest side of the courtyard near the center. |
To activate the third flag, you will have to command Ashley to stay behind and hold the hidden lever on the southwest corner of the courtyard. This will keep a nearby gate from closing. Go through the gate and you will find the third lever.
Solving this puzzle opens up the path that allows you to progress further in Chapter 9.
