Minecart Tips

You Can Destroy Enemies' Carts

You can destroy an enemy's minecart by continuously shooting it about 4 times. If you have difficulty shooting the Ganados themselves, you can alternatively destroy their minecarts.

You Can Deal With the Chainsaw Man by Stopping His Attacks

In the second minecart route, you will encounter the Chainsaw Man multiple times. There is no need to rush trying kill him since you will still be able to finish the route if you just cancel his attacks.

Time your shots early in his attack animation to stagger him and prevent him from attacking.

You Can Heavily Damage the Chainsaw Man's Cart Outside the Cave

During the second minecart route, there is a scene where you will pass outside the tunnels and see the Chainsaw Man's minecart in a distance. In his minecart, there would be red explosive barrels you can shoot.

Shooting those red explosive barrels will heavily deal damage to the Chainsaw Man's minecart. If you are successful, you will be able to easily destroy his minecart by shooting it several times in the next encounter.

Restart From Autosave Once You Take Damage

If you take damage in the middle of the minecart routes, load the autosave from the menu and try again. On all difficulty levels other than Professional, an autosave will be activated the moment you get on the minecart. You can start over from that point on.

On Professional difficulty, you will start over from the point where you manually saved. It is recommended to save at beginning of the first and second minecart start points.

If you are aiming to clear rank S+ on Professional, take into account the time it takes to save in both points.

Best Save Points on Professional

Use Aim Assist in Standard or Lower Difficulty

If you're having trouble acquiring the trophy on Standard or lower difficulty, use Aim Assist. This will lessen the challenge of aiming during the minecart sections.
